Keys locked in car
By Dave Rinnder

A few years ago I left my job for another, better position. However, I did have a soft spot both for the place I was leaving and the colleagues I worked with and the friends I had made over the years. Now it was customary at this place of work that, whoever was leaving, had both a speech made about them and they were expected to make a leaving speech themselves. I knew, of course that this would happen and so prepared a short speech to thank my colleagues and say goodbye. However, the content of my speech soon was added to in as events unfolded. I was loading up my car with the contents of my desk to take to my new position when, unbelievably, I realised I had left my keys locked in the car. Therefore, when making my speech I said that the fact that I had my keys locked in the car suggested that I was undeniably attached to the place. Everybody laughed and eventually the rescue service came and managed to get the keys locked in the car out without any damage to either my car or the keys.

In theory, I should be quite an expert on bathroom tiles, having spent the last goodness knows how long looking for tiles for my mum`s bathroom. In fairness it`s been an enjoyable process and it`s certainly given me a few ideas for my own home. I really like the look of mosaics and cobbles and I`m sure that a great design feature could be made in our bathroom if a combination of these tiles were used. What`s more, having looked at bathroom tiles made from limestone, I`m dying to get stuck into our bathroom project when I can. Thanks to mum I`ve now got the bit between my teeth and am eager to put the bathroom tiles to good use. I`m pretty certain that our suite is salvageable and some of the tiles are all that`s needed to give the bathroom a new look. It`s quite exciting when you start to think about how the bathroom could look if it had some of the funky new tiles within it. We currently have tiles on the floor of our bathroom but I really do fancy a change. With new bathroom tiles fitted to the walls and the floors we could bathe in a beautiful new surrounding. I suppose this is the part where I say thanks to my mum for putting the idea into my head in the first place.
